Sorbet Living is the creation of Debbie Gent. A History of Art graduate, Debbie worked as a Tailoring Buyer for high street labels Next and Bhs. On buying trips to Paris, New York and Florence, Debbie developed a passion for searching out unusual ‘homeware’.
Her first ‘Beach House Collection’ of lighting and tableware was launched in 2002 through independents. Her brand has developed into a unique range of ceramics, glassware, lighting and wallpaper with a contemporary country feel which is available online and through selected retailers. The Sorbet brand favours a ‘handmade’ look, quirky but functional, eclectic and beautiful.
Sorbet Living products have been featured by many publications, including Country Living, The Telegraph, House Beautiful, The Evening standard and Ideal Home magazine to name a few.
Debbie now lives in the South Downs, with her husband Tom, an architect and their two children Oliver and Miranda.
